After one crash, my keyboard and mouse would not work even after multiple restarts. I have tried clicking find hardware changes in the device manager and either get no changes or, less frequently, the system crashes. When checking Device manager, I noticed it was only ever listed under imaging devices directly after booting up, if any attempt was made to test the webcam in the lws280 or Skype software it would disappear from device manager. I tested it in Skype and it also would not work.
The webcam has not been working for a few weeks and there were a few other windows features playing up so I decided to clean reinstall windows 10.Īfter a clean install of windows 10, via their Create Media download, I performed the following steps in this order:ĭownloaded and installed lws280 - it did not work!Īfter following the wizard, I got a message saying the webcam was not detected. I am using a Logitech C270 with lws280 on Windows 10. Then I found out on net that it could be because of hardware acceleration, I reduced the the hardware accelation, but it has not impacted positively.My webcam will not work and I cannot get the blasted thing going.
I uninstalled the driver and re-installed it. Sometimes this webcam stops working with MSN Messnger as well (build. The opposite person can listen to me but I cannot listen to them. Sometimes, it does not recognise the input mic, so I can listen to the coversation from opposite person but the opposite person cannot listen to me. However I face problems when I use it with Yahoo messenger (build 9.). I installed the driver for this Webcam (VX-3000) and started using it. I have Toshiba Satellite laptop with XP loaded on it (RAM 1 GB)
I recently purchased Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 becasue my earlier webcam (tevion SN9C103) stopped working after I loaded SP3 for Windiws XP.
